At signmojo.com, every sign we create is the result of teamwork, dedication, and craftsmanship. From design and project management to production, assembly, shipping, and customer support, it takes a talented group of people working together to deliver the quality our customers expect.
That’s why each year, we dedicate a week to recognizing and celebrating the individuals who make it happen.
This year’s Employee Appreciation Week brought the spirit of the Olympics to signmojo.com as our sign artisans competed in a series of friendly challenges, earned medals, and enjoyed a week dedicated to honoring their efforts. While there were no world records broken, there was no shortage of teamwork, laughter, and competitive spirit.
Let the Games Begin
As a company of more than 200 sign artisans, we typically mix employees from different departments to encourage collaboration and build camaraderie across the organization. However, in the true spirit of competition, this year’s teams stayed within their departments, with each group adopting a creative, department-inspired name to represent its “country.”
The Customer Service Department became Serviceton, Digital Print transformed into Printlandia, Marketing became the United States of Marketing, and so on. One personal favorite was Vinblastag, which united the Vinyl, Sand-Blasting, and Staging departments under a single banner.
Of course, each country also had a custom-designed flag that reflected its specialty. Competing as departments strengthened teamwork, fostered department pride, and raised the bar for the athletes.
After a week of prize giveaways and special treats, the entire company gathered for a day of friendly competition. Employees represented their teams in a variety of Olympic-inspired events designed to test accuracy, strategy, and a little bit of creativity.

Curling
The competition began with a spirited curling match where teams carefully slid their stones toward the target, hoping to outscore their opponents. Precision quickly proved to be just as important as power, and participants embraced the challenge with enthusiasm.

Next came our traditional cornhole competition, which brought out some surprisingly competitive players. Every toss mattered as teams worked to rack up points and climb the leaderboard.

Target Triathlon
One of the most unique events of the week was the target triathlon. Armed with three different Nerf blasters, competitors took aim at targets worth varying point values. Participants had to decide whether to play it safe with closer targets or take a chance on the further, higher-scoring targets, making every round exciting to watch.

Javelin Throw
The Olympic spirit continued with our version of the javelin throw. Using pool noodles instead of spears, team members launched their “javelins” toward the target while coworkers cheered from the sidelines. The event delivered plenty of laughs and a few surprisingly impressive throws.

Basketball
The final challenge was a basketball competition unlike any most participants had experienced before. Seated in chairs positioned around the room, competitors attempted shots into a miniature hoop from increasingly difficult locations. The final shot required participants to throw the ball backward over their shoulders, creating some memorable moments and unexpected victories.
Medalists
As points accumulated, teams battled for every opportunity to improve their standings. At the conclusion of the games, custom-made 3D gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to the top-performing teams in each competition, giving participants the chance to celebrate their accomplishments from atop the podium.
More Than Friendly Competition
While the games themselves were a lot of fun, Employee Appreciation Week is about much more than competition.
The Olympics celebrate dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence—qualities that our sign artisans demonstrate every day. Whether they’re solving challenges for customers, producing high-quality signage, meeting tight deadlines, or supporting fellow team members, the commitment our employees bring to their work is what makes signmojo.com a successful signage manufacturer.
Employee Appreciation Week gives us an opportunity to pause and recognize those contributions. It reminds us that behind every successful signage project is a team of talented people whose hard work deserves to be celebrated.
The Real Gold Medal Winners
As another Employee Appreciation Week came to a close, one thing became clear: our greatest strength isn’t the equipment we use or the products we create—it’s the people behind them.
The teamwork, positive attitudes, and dedication displayed throughout the week reflect the same qualities that drive our success throughout the year. Watching departments encourage one another, celebrate victories, and enjoy time together was a powerful reminder of what makes signmojo.com such a special place to work.
We are incredibly grateful for every sign artisan who contributes their skills, knowledge, and passion to our company. Their commitment to excellence continues to help us grow, improve, and serve our customers at the highest level.

Recognizing the 2026 Sign Artisan Olympics planning committee: Gina, Liz A, Liz H, Colin, Kelvon, Tina, Rob
Thank You to Our Planning Committee
A special thank you goes out to the Employee Appreciation Week Planning Committee for organizing another memorable event. We thought the bar was set high after last year’s Big Top Circus, but they reached it again, if not exceeded.
From developing a creative Olympic-themed artisan logo and t-shirts for all, to engaging competitions to coordinating activities, decorations, prizes, and medals, their hard work transformed an ordinary week into a celebration worthy of the opening ceremonies.
Their efforts helped create lasting memories and provided a meaningful opportunity for all of us to recognize the people who make signmojo.com a successful signage company.
